Fantastic wine from the highly accomplished Kuhling Gillot winery, Rheinhessen. Finely matured Riesling gives a succulent hit of grapefruits and a slightly buttery finish to counter the crisp acidity.
Late harvested grapes from the Sacktrager vineyards in the Rheinhessen give this wine a fuller, deep intense flavour with sweet yet crisp finish. The acidity avoids making this a flabby wine. (12 x 75 cl)
Kuhling Gillot is rated as one of the top 1000 producers in the world. Selected grapes from the Kreuz and Herrenberg vineyards are used to create a dry, fruity and finely balanced wine. (12 x 75 cl)
Eiswein is the rarest grade of German wines. The grapes are harvested by hand at -7 degrees Celsius which freezes the excess moisture and leaves a concentrated and intensely rich and flavoursome wine. (24 x 37.5 cl)
A simply gorgeous wine, concentrated apples and sweet grapefruit on the nose, light, fresh and as clean as a whistle. This is wine which will renew peoples faith in German wines. ''This is wine I could drink all day ...highly recommended'' John Higgins (12 x 75 cl)
An incredibly soft and light wine with bags of fruit on both the nose and the palate. Best enjoyed lightly chilled to preserve the taste, drinks similar to a Beaujolais. Rare and involving. (12 x 75 cl)
A luscious dessert wine of outstanding quality. Complex evolving aromas of spice, marmalade and super-ripe tropical fruit carry on to the palate, with excellent acidity to balance. (12 x 75 cl)
