Hints of liquorice and dried red fruits give way to peppery, raspberry and chewy flavours, dried herbs and earthy undertones; powerful, meaty and dry although the tannins smooth out on the complex, long finish. (6 x 75 cl)
The most important grape used in red Bairrada is Baga. The red wines from this DOC region have a rich garnet-red colour and lively fruit. Their firm tannins make red Bairrada an excellent wine with roast meats, game and mature cheeses. A connoisseur's win (6 x 75 cl)
