Bright-straw colour accented with gold highlights. The bouquet is instantly appealing with rich, complex, tropical fruit, and toasty hazelnut overtones. The palate is powerful and smooth, with hints of grapefruit and white peach, finishing with richer flavours of banana and pineapple, combined with refreshing acidity. (6 x 75 cl)

Light, fine, straw colour with hints of green. On the nose it is rich and fruity, with floral hints of acacia and broom. The palate is full and elegant, balanced with ripe, kiwi fruit. The finish is youthful with nice, refreshing acidity and a lingering aftertaste. (24 x 18.75 cl)

Roch Anglade, a highly qualified oenologue, ran the research station at Beziers before taking on the family property, together with his brother some 6 years ago. The situation is lovely, with well-sited vineyards, just in sight of the sea at the bottom of the Herault Valley.Roch Anglade makes immaculate wines. His Chardonnay is excellent (12 x 75 cl)

Grenache Blanc is blended with Chardonnay to produce a wine showing white fruit, stand up minerality and hints of cream on the long finish. The Cave de Rivesaltes co-op was founded in 1932 and together with its partner, la Cave de Salses le Chateau, covers more than 3000 hectares, cultivated by 550 growers. New Zealander Alana McGettigan used some of the best fruit and the excellent facilities at the Cave de Rivesaltes in the Languedoc to make the Vignes de l'Eglise range. (12 x 75 cl)
