Louis Latour Meursault AC
Situated just south of Volnay and Pommard in the Côte de Beaune, Meursault is the most extensive northerly white wine commune of the Côte-d'Or. The perfect south-easterly exposure and the stony, marl soil contribute greatly to the remarkable finesse of which the wines of Meursault are capable. Typical Meursaults tend to be very full, mellow wines and mature somewhat sooner than the wines from the neighbouring communes of Puligny and Chassagne. The wine is full in the mouth and well-structured showing exotic fruitiness and a nutty, spicy character. It can be drunk when young but patience is amply repaid. Yellow and gold in appearance with good concentration from this powerful Meursault which has aromas of apricot stones and toasted hazelnuts. A very attractive wine with a long, clean finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Louis Latour Meursault AC
Flashes of lemon-yellow in the glass and a nose, youthful in its fruitiness, with aromas of fresh flowers and minerals. Crisp acidity and ample structure with hints of lemon zest. A fresh, up-front wine which promises grandeur. (12 x 75 cl)

Louis Latour Pommard EPENOTS 1er Cru Pommard Domaine Louis Latour
The village of Pommard is comfortably sandwiched between the town of Beaune and the commune of Volnay. In contrast to the wines of its close neighbours, those of Pommard tend to be fuller, more tannic and expansive in the mouth, similar to those of the Côte de Nuits. The Epenots is solid and firm in its youth and needs time to mature and mellow out before revealing its full glory. It is intense and spicy with a distinct truffle bouquet and a flavourful richness. The 1998 Pommard 1er Cru vintage has a concentrated deep red robe and the palate is a reflection of the concentrated fruity aromas. The wine has a lingering finish and a good length. (12 x 75 cl)
