This Bonnes-Mares is a grand cru with the bones to last, selected from vines with anaverage age 40 years, it is matured in new oak barrels and bottled without filtration or fining. A great red revealing ripe aromas of brown spice, smoke, mint, menthol and earth. Dense and spicy it issues forth promises of raspberries, exotic spice, caraway and sous-bois. (6 x 75 cl)
At is peak of maturity now, this wine has supple, subtle violet and strawberry fruit overlaid with hints of spice and chocolate. Delicate, mature palate with lifted fruit and well integrated oak. Subtle, complex and delightful. (12 x 75 cl)
This is a muddy medium-light ruby-brown colour, smells deliciously decayed, old mushrooms, muddy underbrush and tea in a base of dried cherry fruit, with an ever so vague hint of nutty sherriness. (6 x 75 cl)
