The Monnier family have owned this estate for over 10 generations and this wine is created from grapes of the 1er Cru vineyard in Volnay. Carefully attention in the vineyard, including attentive pruning, is used to limit production and increase the quality, concentration and flavour of the grapes. The epitome of fine Burgundy showing integrated oak and firm but fine tannins on the finish, demonstrating the balanced silky style of this house. (12 x 75 cl)

Vincent Bitouzet's is the current family member to inherit the 11 hectare domaine. Today it is composed of 3 hectares planted to Chardonnay and the remaining 8 to Pinot Noir. This Pinot Noir is harvested by hand then fermentation takes place in barrel before being bottled between 20 and 24 months after harvest. From one of the 3 outstanding 1er Cru vineyards comes this well crafted wine. Marked by its fruitiness this wine has red and black berry fruit in abundance, well balanced and long on the finish, this is a wine to linger over. (12 x 75 cl)
