One of the oldest properties in the Medoc, Chateau d`Arsac is in the rather unique position of having part of its vineyards reclassified in 1995 after a prolonged battle with the authorities.
This wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot with a deep red colour it has nice rich fruit aromas. The palate highlights the rich fruit flavours, balanced with spice, oak and concentrated tannins, it is well-made and fruity with a nice finish.
A chateau which traditionally represents one of the best quality/value-for-money ratios in Margaux. Since the current owner, Hubert Perrodo, took control in 1989, large amounts of both money and love have been put into raising the quality by investments. (12 x 75 cl)
