Since his death in 1980 his wife and daughter still continue his work. The chateau has a palatial air about it with broad steps and a four-column portico at the end of a sweeping drive. The winery buildings are partly above and below the ground and include spectacular vaulted barrel cellars. All new casks. Fine and gravelly with overall thin topsoils.
