Moutard have been making wine for several generations, producing a range of Champagnes from its own grapes as well as from grapes purchased from other vine-growers in the region.
The vineyards are in the Cote des Bar which is made up of clays and limestones that give the traditional Champagne varieties - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay their distinctive character.
The Moutard vineyard is ideally situated on sunny slopes in the southern part of the Champagne Region and it has produced a beautiful pastel pink colour Rose. A fine complex nose is complemented by excellent fruit intensity in this great Rose Champagne.

Made from the well known varieties of Chardonnay,Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, together with Pinot Blanc, Arbane and Petit Meslier which are also permitted within the regulations of the area. The juice was fermented in old Meursault Burgundy oak barrels to give greater flavour complexities to the wine. A handcrafted Champagne of great quality available in limited quantities. (6 x 75 cl)
