A family group of small Beaujolais estates, Les Rageats is an old name for this vineyard located behind the ancient 'Chapelle de la Madonne' near Labourons area. Les Rageats, a small vineyard, offers a delicate Cru to please the Fleurie connoisseur. Red fruit aromas with smooth and spicy scents are evident while the palate is showing a lot of fruit with a good tannic structure this is a silky, soft and harmonious wine.

Even though the vines are classified as Beaujolais-Villages, the wine is fruity and deep coloured like a Brouilly. In 1784, when Jacques Joseph Brac de la Perrière moved to Château de la Pilonniere, located on the slopes of the Brouilly hill, he did not think that he would be guillotined 15 years later. His sons, grandsons and descendants have maintained and developped the 9 hectare estate, always keeping the family tradition of vinifying in the original vat-room. A typical Brouilly wine, it is elegant with a deep red colour and red fruit aromas. A great Gamnay, this wine is showing blackcurrant flavours that combine with a silky texture and ripe tannins on the finish. (12 x 75 cl)
