Description:
A very good example of a middle of the road Barolo at a very good price. The wine is subtle, robust and elegant, and is drinking well now, but is still capable of some ageing.
Barbera is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK, and this is an excellent example of a good economical Barbera which is light and abundantly fruity. A lovely wine for any occasion. (12 x 75 cl)
Gavi in 1999 became a DOCG wine. The wine is the thoroughbred of Tortona and is dry, with a delicate texture and mellow fruits, with a soft, greenish-white colour. (12 x 75 cl)
Founded in Tortona, in the Province of Alessandria in 1914, Cantine Volpi has been able to build, step-by-step, a distintive role in its region as a producer of high quality wines using the local grapes Cortese, Barbera and Dolcetto. (12 x 75 cl)
Classic white wine from Piedmont. It has a pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. Fresh and delicate on the nose with fruity notes, fragrant and dry taste. (6 x 75 cl)
This vineyard is situated on the Hill of the Cannubi. A deep, sometimes inky wine, with tobacco aromas. It has a great, smoky complexity and surprising finesse and suppleness for such a weighty wine. A perfect accompaniment to red meat game and cheese. Serve at room temperature. (12 x 75 cl)
