Robert Eden is the Driving force behind Chateau Maris and Comte Cathare. While this wine has been selected as a 'Best Buy' by the Wine Spectator and singled out for praise by none less than Robert Parker. Chateau Maris is a 40 hectare property in the Minervois La Liviniere appellation, the first village appellation in the Languedoc acknowledged by INAO in 1998. A blend of Carignan with Grenache and Syrah, it has the classic Languedoc 'Garrigue' flavours in harmony with a modern, raspberry fruit character. The tannins are fine and elegant with surprising length. (12 x 75 cl)
