Batasiolo Barolo DOCG Piemonte
Colour: deep ruby-garnet that turns brick red with age. Bouquet: ethereal, intense, with hints of spices and dried fruits and offers great finesse to the nose and palate. Taste: dry, full-bodied, imposing, elegant, austere but velvety. Food Suggestions: ideal for accompanying game, roasts and strong, mature cheese. Serving Temperature: to be served at 18-20ºC. Should be decanted. Ageing: minimum ageing by law is three years. Vinification and Refinement: the vinification process consists of red wine method with long maceration on the skins for circa 15-20 days. Following the malolactic fermentation, the maturation takes place in the traditional Slavonian oak casks for up to 2 years with a third year ageing in the bottle. Area: Barolo, Serralunga d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba and La Morra. (12 x 37.5 cl)

Colour: intense garnet red. Bouquet: ethereal, with hints of ripe fruits and spices such as prunes, figs and clove and traces of vanilla. Taste: dry, harmonious and velvety, with a liquorice aftertaste. Vinification and Refinement: the vinification process consists of the red wine method with maceration on the skins for 10 to 15 days. Following the alcoholic fermentation the wine is then matured in the traditional Slavonian oak casks for at least 2 years. A third year of ageing in the bottle is necessary before its release. Food Suggestions: ideal for accompanying game, roasts and strong, mature cheese. Serving Temperature: best served at 18-20ºC, after decanting. Area: Monforte d'Alba and Barolo. Vine: The 3 sub-varieties of Nebbiolo: Michet, Lampia and Rosé. (6 x 75 cl)

Batasiolo CEREQUIO Barolo DOCG Piemonte
Color: intense garnet red. Aroma: ethereal, rose petals, and spice, with hints of tobacco, mint and chocolate. Vinification: red wine method with maceration on the skins for approx 10 days. Following the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is then matured in traditional Slavonian oak casks for ca. 2 years during which period the malolactic fermation takes place. The wine is then refined for a further 8-10 months prior to its release. Area: La Morra. Vine: Nebbiolo for Barolo (6 x 75 cl)

Colour: intense garnet red that turns brick red with age. Bouquet: full with notes of cinnamon and ripe fruits, enhanced by traces of oak. Taste: dry, full-bodied, well balanced. The tannins give a soft, velvety finish. Good persistence with an intense, pleasant aftertaste Vinification and Refinement: red wine method with maceration on the skins for 15 days. After a significant decanting process, the wine is stored in barriques for up to 2 years. This ageing period is decided on by careful sampling from the barrique. A third year of ageing in the bottle is necessary before its release. Serving Temperature: best served at 18-20ºC. Should be decanted. Area: Serralunga d'Alba (6 x 75 cl)

ABV: 5,5% vol. Colour: straw yellow with golden reflections. Bouquet: intensely fragrant, fruity and rich. Flavour: sweet, full bodied, with an aromatic aftertaste. Vinification: white wine method, gentle pressing of the grapes, slow fermentation at a low temperature. Area: Serralunga d'Alba Vine: Moscato d'Asti Grape. (6 x 75 cl)
