The Grand Cru Brut Reserve is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir from Ay and 20% Chardonnay from Avize and le Mesnil sur Ogier from the estate's own vineyards. Reserve wine makes up 20% of the blend and the wine spends 2-3 years on the lees giving it greater weight, richness and a toasty character on the palate.
A blend of 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 40% Chardonnay, the Brut Reserve comprises 10% reserve wine aged partly in old oak barrels and partly in bottle and spends between 22 and 26 months on the lees. (6 x 75 cl)
Roger Brun is a family run Champagne house based in the heart of the Grand Cru village of Aÿ in the Marne Valley, with 6.5 hectares of vineyards. Roger Brun’s great grandfather learnt the art of Champagne making while working for Moët and Chandon in the early 1900s and the family’s passion for Champagne has been burning ever since. Roger’s son Philippe has now taken over the winemaking and the running of the estate. (12 x 37.5 cl)
