With rootstocks on average 30 years old and a wide range of varietals planted inluding Garnacha, Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano, Viura, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. More recently, Lasierpe (like many traditional Spanish producers) has undergone a winemaking revolution in order for its wines to compete internationally. A modern winery has been developed with huge investment in oak and technology. This Crianza is a blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon and is a remarkably supple, velvety smooth red with hints of ripe wild strawberry fruit coupled with savoury notes from the time spent in barrel. Well balanced with a juicy, succulent, moreish finish.
