Using a combination of traditional grapes from the region and more familiar varitals from around the world has allowed the Siam Winery to produce medium-bodied wines that are both dry and lower in acidity. The aim of these wines is to enhance, complement and balance a rich mixture of flavours found in Thai cooking. Made from the local Pokdum (80%), Shiraz (15%) and Black Muscat (5%) grapes grown on the 'floating vineyard' north of the Gulf of Thailand in the Chao Phraya Delta this red wine is showing aromas of blackberry, mulberry and leather. A medium-bodied wine with a velvety finish.
