Fetzer VALLEY OAKS Zinfandel California

Delicious ripe raspberry fruit, quite full-bodied but well balanced for drinking with or without food and bottled under stelvin to retain its youthful fruit. (12 x 75 cl)

This wine takes its name from a part of the Kohn vineyards in Mendocino, the source of some of the grapes. They are picked early to preserve acidity and aroma. A portion of the blend is aged 'sur lie' in stainless-steel tanks. DUPLICATE (6 x 75 cl)

Careful vinification involving forty-eight hours of cold maceration followed by a four-week, cool fermentation in stainless steel resulted in a wine that has captured all of the Syrah's characteristics. This care and attention to detail has produced a deep-coloured and deliciously fruity wine with intense raspberry character, light strawberry flavours and hints of lavender and violet. The light tannins from skin contact combined with crisp acidity give this wine nice length and structure on the palate. (12 x 75 cl)

This soft, subtle Merlot is sourced from Lodi-Woodbridge, Central and North Coasts. A wine which exudes the natural fleshiness of the Merlot. After traditional fermentation in stainless steel, further maturation takes place for six months in new or second year barrel. DUPLICATE (6 x 75 cl)

Well-balanced, fruity Shiraz with a nice touch of spice on the finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Named after the Sundial Ranch, which was purchased by Fetzer in 1981 and still proveds wine which is used to produce America's second best-selling Chardonnay. Delicious flavours of tropical fruits such as pineapples and melons and a rich mouthfeel on the palate. (6 x 75 cl)

The large Valley Oaks Ranch, adjacent to the Fetzer winery, gave its name to this popular wine. Grapes are also sourced from Lodi and the up-and-coming area of Paso Robles, where Fetzer are building a new winery. Maturation takes place in American and French oak. DUPLICATE (6 x 75 cl)
