Domaine Albrecht is located in Orschwihr, Southern Alsace, its origins going back to 1772. Their vineyards, along slopes facing south to south east benefit from a prime exposure on the foothills of the Vosges Mountains thus ensuring early ripening. Lucien Albrecht has 65 acres of vines and is rated amongst the most important producers in Alsace. The vineyard is located in Orschwir, which is situated in the lower part of Alsace. The wine making techniques used at Lucien Albrecht make full use of modern equipment in a very up to date winery. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks and is slow and temperature controlled in order to obtain the finest fruit flavours. This 100% Pinot Blanc has a generously aromatic nose with a palate showing excellent weight of fruit, texture and complexity. The acidity is well integrated with the appley, minerally fruit and the length is seemingly infinite. A deliciously refreshing, versatile wine. (6 x 75 cl)
