An amber and light coloured wine that is full of flavours including white flowers, fresh fruits, pear and white peach. Quite delicate, the mouth is tender with a beautiful fruit. The Bordenave vineyard, located at the heart of the Jurancon appellation in Monein, is one of the oldest properties of the area, exploited by father and son or girl since 1676. Following important investments in the wine storehouses and of the reorganisation of the vineyard, the vineyard presented its first vintage year in 1993. (6 x 75 cl)
Gil and his wife Marie-Blanche are computer bods who threw up the mad world of 'info-tech' in 2000 and bought and densely planted a mere 2 hectares of Jurangon terroir with petit manseng. They farm their land organically and their first vintage was 2005. They produce just two wines the Marie-Blanque is an intensely mineral, layered sec that displays density, weight and texture and is made from Gros Manseng.
