Produced from 100% Croatina grapes. After a traditional fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The wine has an intense, dry and full bodied taste with fruity aromas and hints of soft liquorice. (6 x 75 cl)
Pinot nero is one of the greatest red grape vines that have found favourable position on the hills of Oltrepo, though the production is scarce, the quality is excellent. After a careful examination of the indications of ripeness, the grapes are harvested by hand, undergoing a further selection. After being stripped of the stalk and pressed, the grapes are then subjected to a process of maceration which lasts between eight and ten days, depending on the distinctive features of the vintage year; this process takes place in stainless steel tanks, with frequent repassing of must over the grape dregs. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred into barrels where it is refined, and then poured into bottles. This interesting Pinot nero appears immediately inviting with its dark red, almost impenetrable colour. The winy scents open on fruity notes of blackberries and raspberries. The wine offers abalanced, well-rounded mouthfeel, pleasantly silky and fresh. (6 x 75 cl)

Today, under the guidance of Giorgio Soldati, son of founder Vittorio, La Scolca’s wines are still associated with the finest restaurants both in Italy and throughout the world (6 x 75 cl)
Its colour is a bright ruby and its spirit is as young and irreverent as its name. It sees no wood nor undergoes ageing, but is delicate on the palate and has gentle rose-like aromas. (12 x 75 cl)
