The estate encompasses 420 acres among the rolling hills near the town of Montepulciano, with 124 acres planted to vineyards specifically selected for making Vino Nobile. Made from a blend of 90% Prugnolo, a varient of the Sangiovese vine, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of vines used in production of this wine is 18 years with the harvest commencing in early October. Vinification takes place in steel tanks and the blend is aged 24 months in Slavonia oak barrel and bottle aged 3 months before the released for sale.
