Pommard Charmots

An old Chassagne family, with at least five generations of grape-growing behind them, and any number of cousins in the village. This domaine began to make its name when Fernand started to make and bottle wine himself, and now with his son Laurent in charge, their star has been rising. Although not terribly Pommard in style, this is sensationally good. A true reflection of ripe and juicy Pinot Noir which is good to drink young. (12 x 75 cl)

A beautifully crafted Pinot with layer upon layer of silky violet and wild strawberry fruit.Well structured with supple tannins and hints of toasty oak, this wine has complexity and finesse in abundance.
