Produced entirely on granite soils, this wine is velvety smooth, elegant and has aromas of irises, violets, roses in bloom, peaches and blackcurrants. Perfect accompaniment to roast lamb, poultry and white meat. (6 x 75 cl)
Pierre and Marie Chermette have run the Domaine du Vissoux since 1982 with the simple objective of letting the grapes best express the nature of the terroir through the wine. Located in Saint Verand in the southwestern part of the Beaujolais region the domaine now extends to 29 Hectares. The estate has adopted environmentally sensitive methods of cultivation, aiming to make wine in the purest and most natural way possible. While the wines are made in the traditional Beaujolais style, they are then aged for 6 months in oak barrels. A rich red fruit based wine, well balanced with silky-smooth strength and finish. (6 x 75 cl)
