Batasiolo SABRI Barbera d'Asti DOC Piemonte
Ruby red colour with a delicate bouquet and a pleasantly fruity palate. Full bodied, with well-balanced acidity, and a clean, smooth finish. Crushing and stemming of the grapes, followed by fermentation with maceration on the skins for 10-12 days. Static decanting and refinement in Slavonian oak casks for 10 months. Subsequently the wine is bottled and cellared for a further 3 months prior to its release. (6 x 75 cl)

Colour: light straw yellow. Bouquet: musky with a delicately sweet and harmonious flavour. Flavour: sweet with a very fine and lasting froth. Vinification: gentle pressing of the grapes. Natural fermentation of the Moscato grapes is carried out in pressurised vats using the Charmat system. Colour: intense red garnet which with time is enriched with nuances of orange. Bouquet: characteristic, elegant smooth finish reminiscent of dry roses. Taste: dry, full-bodied, austere and lingering. Vinification and Refinement: alcoholic fermentation with long maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 2 years of which one year in oak barrels and a further year in the bottle. Food Suggestions: roasted meats and game. Serving Temperature: 18-20ºC, should be decanted. Area: Alba, Barbaresco. Vine: Nebbiolo Grape. (6 x 75 cl)

Vinification and Refinement: the vinification process consists of red wine method with long maceration on the skins for circa 15-20 days. Following the malolactic fermentation, the maturation takes place in the traditional Slavonian oak casks for up to 2 years with a third year ageing in the bottle. Taste: dry, full-bodied, imposing, elegant, austere but velvety. Food Suggestions: ideal for accompanying game, roasts and strong, mature cheese. Serving Temperature: to be served at 18-20ºC. Should be decanted. Ageing: minimum ageing by law is three years. Vinification and Refinement: the vinification process consists of red wine method with long maceration on the skins for circa 15-20 days. Following the malolactic fermentation, the maturation takes place in the traditional Slavonian oak casks for up to 2 years with a third year ageing in the bottle. Color: intense garnet red. Aroma: ethereal, rose petals, and spice, with hints of tobacco, mint and chocolate. Vinification: red wine method with maceration on the skins for approx 10 days. Following the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is then matured in traditional Slavonian oak casks for ca. 2 years during which period the malolactic fermation takes place.
