Description:
Carlo Pellegrino was founded in Marsala in 1880. Since then it has grown constantly. It is now one of the leading Sicilian companies, not only for the production and sale of Marsala, but also for wines of Pantelleria, DOC table wines and wines under the label of Duca di Castelmonte.
Today Pellegrino has three operative units. The historical cellars in Marsala, a second winery near Marsala in Cardilla and a third winery built in 1992 on the island of Pantelleria.
This is an enterprising rose coloured wine made from Nerello Mascalese and Sangiovese grapes. It has a fresh aroma with recognisable hints of raspberry while it is full dry and harmonious with an enjoyable finish
Made from carefully selected Grenanico grapes, this wine is dry, fruity, fresh and delicate with tones of spices and flowers in the background. (12 x 75 cl)
A blend of Nerello Mascale and Calabrese grapes, this intensely flavored wine is full of unrestrained ripe fruit flavours whilst retaining lightness, elegance and balance. (12 x 75 cl)
Matured in oak for 12 months, this wine is persistent and well balanced with a long elegant finish. The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe, red berries with a hint of balanced oak. (6 x 75 cl)
