In a great region to produce wines the terror benefits from the mediterranean climate and from the mediating effects of the north wind to produce wines of great character. This Merlot, produced from 25 year old vines has aromas of red and black fruits including cherries, blackberries and plum. Unoaked and well structured this deep coloured wine is showing flexible tanins and a mouth filling style that gives way to an enjoyable finish. (12 x 75 cl)

The Barreau family has run the domain for three generations and it is situated on the hills overlooking Eauze, a small town which is the capital of Armagnac, the famous 'eau-de vie' made in the region of Gascogne. This wine is a fruity blend of Colombard, Sauvignon Balnc, Ugni Blanc and Gross Manseng.
