Kleine Zalze VINEYARD SELECTION Barrel Fermented Chenin Blanc Stellenbosch RSA from South Africa, Stellenbosch by Kleine Zalze Fruity Dry Whites (6 x 75 cl)
Mainly from the Voelgesang Farm at Wellington. The wine is made using skin contact, a long, cool fermentation and extended lees contact. An outstanding wine, with both grapefruit and herbaceous character. (6 x 75 cl)
From the Wellington vineyards, this deep-coloured, rich blackcurranty wine was made using a long skin maceration and matured in American oak. Improves further in bottle. (6 x 75 cl)
Low-yielding old bush vines planted on well-shaded shale soils at Wellington produce this ripe, tropical fruit flavoured Chenin with an attractive hint of American oak. Some lees ageing and partial malolactic fermentation help to both soften and round the wine. (12 x 75 cl)
