Domaine des Nouelles Rose d'Anjou

Domaine de Vieux Pruniers is situated in the heart of Bué, one of the finest villages in the Sancerre appellation. Production is small, with a 'hands on' approach in the vineyard and minimal handling in the winery. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir it the grapes come from small vineyards that yield small parcels of fruit. The grapes are harvested and vinified seperately in stainless steeel, temperature controlled tanks with the greatest care possible to respect the delicate, fruity characters. During the fermentation the wine is racked off the skins before too much colour or tannin is extracted and rested in steel tanks until blending, filtering and bottling. Possesses a lightly aromatic, juicy nose of strawberries with hints of crushed leaves. The palate is dry, light and fruity with a mouthwatering layer of red fruits covering its vivacious, mineral acidity that lends elegance and poise to the long, crisp finish. (6 x 75 cl)

This Quincy from Domaine des Ballandors, aromatic and minerally, is a perfect example of an outstanding vintage which has produced classical wines in the Loire Valley. It is bright, light yellow in colour, with greenish lights. Fresh and very aromatic on the nose, with perfumes which range from gooseberry through to fresh, herbaceous notes. These will develop into a more tropical style as the wine ages. Zingy and clean on the palate, with the characteristic Ballandors balance between ripe fruit and fresh acidity. The Sauvignon grapes were vinified in the winery situated at Brinay in the Loire. Ballandors is one of two domaines owned by this husband and wife team, Jean Tatin and Chantal Wilk. The vines are set on the sandy soil over freshwater limestone characteristic of the region, and this leads to the flinty, mineral flavours so obvious in the Ballandors wine. (6 x 75 cl)

Le Roc des Anges is an estate of approximately 22 hectares in the village of Montner in the Agly valley , on the north exposed side of Forca Real mountain. A blend of old Grenache Gris and Macabeu vines fermented in foudres.
