Brilliant yellow in colour, vanilla notes on the nose with citric fruit. Full bodied on the palate with a well structured and a long finish. (12 x 75 cl)
Our Sauvignon Blanc features delicate aromas of fresh pear, lemon peel, and a hint of red pepper. On the palate, lemon, green apple and fresh pear flavours predominate. Background notes of freshly cut grass continue through the clean finish. To enjoy the fresh fruit characters, we recommend consuming within two years of vintage. (12 x 37.5 cl)
Veramonte Reserva Sauvignon Blanc Casablanca Valley Chile from Chile, Aconcagua, Casablanca Valley by Veramonte Zesty/Aromatic Dry Whites (24 x 37.5 cl)
AROMA: Very complex and covers a wide range of aromas: citrus, floral , fruits such as apricot and white peach and tropical fruit such as fresh passion fruit. TASTE: Tropical fruit and citrus. Excellent structure, refreshing acidity, with a long, crisp finish. VINIFICATION: Part of the grapes were pressed as whole clusters and the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperature for 30 days. The rest of the grapes were crushed and the juice was then cold controlled fermented in stainless steel tanks for 18 days at 12 to 15ÂșC. The resulting wine was left for two days on lees prior to being decanted. The two lots were then blended and left on fine lees for two and a half months, being periodically pushed into suspension with inert gas to give more volume to the wine. It was then decanted, cold stabilised and filtered before bottling. (12 x 75 cl)
A native Chilean, Agustin Huneeus joined Napa Valley based Franciscan Estates in 1985 as President and CEO, bringing with him international wine experience from Chile and the United States. In 1990, after discovering promising potential vineyard property in the Casablanca Valley, Agustin Huneeus realized his dream of returning to Chile to found Veramonte. The cool climate of the Casablanca Valley, Chile's premier white wine region, creates an excellent wine which exudes the classic gooseberry and cut-grass aromas associated with this variety. Good clarity with a light straw colour, this wine is zesty with sensational medium body flavours similar to the aroma-citrus, herbs, and fresh fruit that linger gently on the palate. (6 x 75 cl)
Produced in the Casablanca Valley, it has vibrantly rich citrus aromas and is complimented by vanilla highlights from a light oak fermentation. (12 x 75 cl)
