Noticeable ripe fruit nose, with hints of ripe red fruit Spicy, roasted and balsamic aromas and memories of mineral notes.Tasty on the mouth, it is wide and complex in its ripen and sweet tannins. It leaves a long and lingering finish that shows the great personality of this wine. This wine is the result of a thorough grape selection in our own vineyard called Pago El Rincón. The yield in this vineyard is 3.800 Kg/ha. The grapes were picked when they reached the optimum acidity, glucometric and poliphenolic maturity from our point of view. The vineyard was under controlled water-stress. The vines are 30 years old. Production: Fermentation of destalked grapes took place under controlled temperature around 28ºC in stainless steel tanks on the first few days. Then it was macerated for four weeks in order to extract a good colour from the cap of skins. The malolactic fermentation underwent in new French oak barrels for three months and after was aged in Russian middle-toast oak barrels for nine months. Wine without clarification and filtration, having these been produced by natural meanings due to natural sedimentation and decantation in the barrel.
