Castle of Brolio, is a Classic Chianti DOCG made with the Sangiovese grapes and a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the old systems of the Castle with extremely low yields, but of qualitative level of rare excellence. A ruby red coloured wine with elegant aromas of fruit that follows through to the palate with great tannin strength and a harmonic long finish. Available in a Jeroboam Bottle.

Using the traditional method of vinification the Malvasia , Canaiolo and Sangiovese grapes selected are hung clusters and left to wither for approximately four months in a ventilated atmosphere. The must obtained is fermented slowly for approximately 2 years, and then aged a further 3 years in the barrel. This traditional method of making Vin Santo has produced a dessert wine with a beautiful deep golden colour with amber hues. The intense and fragrant bouquet leads to a full and lingering taste of almonds and raisins with a great finish. Available in half bottles. (6 x 37.5 cl)
