Louis Forget created his vineyard at the beginning of the XIX century. Then Eugène established the family label in 1920, with a production of just a hundred bottles. Today the 10 hectare Estate of Forget-Brimont is mainly located in the terroirs of Montagne de Reims, Mailly Champagne and Verzenay 'grands crus noirs' as well as Ludes and Rilly 'premier crus' at the heart of the pinot noir kingdom. When and as necessary, Michel Forget buys grand cru chardonnay for his blending, while 120 000 bottles leave the Forget cellars each year. Michel Forget blends his champagnes himself from three consecutive years, in order to ensure regularity and maintain the House style which is so appreciated by customers. This is a delicious and well-balanced Champagne with the body and fruit of the Pinot Noir.
