Cadoro Valpolicella Valpantena DOC

Cadoro offers a classic range of wines from Veneto. This wine is a blend of Corvina Molinara and Rondinella and highlights this great wine growing region. A fantastic wine with a garnet red, dense and compact colour, it has a strong and persistent, ethereal and fruity bouquet with hint of black cherries and dry prunes. The palate is well structured, smooth with velvety tannins and a lovely finish. (12 x 75 cl)

This prestigious wine is obtained by an ancient tecnique known in the Veronese area as 'Ripasso'. This tecnique consists of giving more body and character to Valpolicella wine by running it over the residue of the dried grapes used in the production of Amarone Falasco. This procedure and subsequent refining by means of storage for at least one year in small casks made from French oak, reinforce the structure, colour, and flavour of Valpolicella without altering its freshness. This wine is a blend of Corvina Veronese 70% and Rondinella 30% traditionally drunk with game, grilled meats, stews and well matured cheeses. (12 x 75 cl)
