The fruit is deep and intense with rich, dark fruits combining with vegetal, almost minty flavours. The finish is smooth, lingering and supple. Its mature, soft tannins are sweet and provide it with structure and finesse. It is a well-balanced complex wine of great fruit intensity with toasty-oak in the background. Lovely deep-red colour with intense and complex aromas. Notes of rich, red fruit, together with spices, red pepper and rosemary, and subtle toasty-oak flavours. The palate is round, with great structure. The balance of fruit and youthful, soft tannins gives the wine concentration, the oak ageing provides harmonious balance and, combined with the grainy texture of classic Cabernet, it is a great example of the variety. Especially recommended to have with red meat and pasta dishes. It may be drunk now or kept for 10 years. Serve between 17C and 18C. (6 x 75 cl)
