Domaine Saumaize-Michelin was taken over by Roger Saumaize in 1978 and gradually his attention to detail has paid off. The wines are a great reflection of the vineyards as well as being barrel fermented Roger Saumaize is producing outstanding and consistent wine. This is the flagship wine for the domaine, a lovely complex Chardonnay with powerful fruit, balance and a great finish. (6 x 75 cl)

This Chardonnay has great ageing potential with complex aromas of soft citrus fruits, minerals and licorice. Densely packed and fresh, with intense, complex flavours of white fruit particularly pineapple, grapefruit and lemon as well as a hint of spice. The finish is very firm, long but not dry.
