The Pradelle brothers, Jean-Louis and Jacques, run a traditional domaine based in Mercurol, the best part of the appellation, producing outstanding wines. A classic fermentation and long maceration ensure deep-coloured, rich and concentrated wines.
The grapes are harvested manually in small cases and vinified traditionally. Next, te wine is matured for 9 months, 33% in oak barrels between 1 and 2 years old. A well structured and pleasant wine it possesses typical aromas of Syrah from the northern Rhone showing small red fruits, blackcurrents, supported by spicy notes. (12 x 75 cl)
Florent Vaile has been bottling his wines since the 1990 vintage. He produces a sublime red Crozes Hermitage, full bodied with chunky dark fruit and powerful, earthy flavours on the palate. The wine has a real sense of terroir and offers very good value for money from an appellation that can often be disappointing. (12 x 75 cl)
A rich, soft white with subtle citrus fruit flavours overlaid with a creamy, nutty character. Displaying great concentration and complexity, this is a fine example from one of the leading lights of the region. (12 x 75 cl)
