Jean-Paul Paquet succeded his fater in 1978 when he inherited the 3 hectare domaine. After careful investment the domaine now accounts for 12 hectares and in 1989 Domaine de Fussiacus was created. The name Fussiacus comes from a Roman who built a villa where the village of Fuisse now stands and is considered to be Fuisse's founding father.
