Ruby red colour with a delicately dry almond taste, this young, fresh wine preserves all the qualities of the grapes it is made from. The Fratelli Casseta winery is located in the North-west of Italy in the Piemonte region. The estates 40 ha are set in a magic paradise of hills with strong soil and a dry climate. The Casetta family has been there since 1725, and wine-making is a family tradition. Thanks to the vision of Ernesto Casetta, whose life has been the guiding spirit behind this company, its wines are now renowned the world over. (6 x 75 cl)
Opaque ruby red with extensive, deep purple highlights. The bouquet is remarkably strong and persistent, with continuously alternating aromas of folwers and especially of fruit; petals of dark violets give way to red currant berries, while a hint of black cherry overlaps with a fragrance of mature balckberries. To the taste, Barturot offers a body that is hearty and athletic, yet gentle and soft. The lively structure is well supported by a just the right tannin content. The acidity is pleasant, as is the alcoholic swetness. In a symphony of fruity aromas, wild berries again take centre stage to create a rare crescendo that ends in a very long, soft finale. Intensely satisfying to the taste buds, this wine of great elegance and noble bearing proves a theory held by Beppe, who has shown that Dolcetto can be as great as any of the finest classic red wines made in Italy. (6 x 75 cl)
Bright ruby red colour with strong violet highlights this wines nose has a Vilot expression showing an elegant and varied bouquet, that is winy and fresh, with hints of wild violet, red rose and blackberry. To the taste, the Vilot character lengthens and intensifies the sensations already revealed to the nose, which are based on a full, lively fruitiness. The structure is solid and well-balanced, with a fine, elegant textur and the finale is long and complex, with a pleasant almond aftertaste. Overall, this is a Dolcetto whose fresh, juicy, fruity flavour is harmonised and complemented by the strong tannins. (12 x 75 cl)
