After the second World War, Giorgio Lungarotti began to focus the production of his family farm on wine production. In developing the estate’s 250 ha of vineyards, he anticipated many subsequent trends in Italian wines. Today, oenologist Teresa Severini Lungarotti holds the company reins together with Giorgio’s daughter Chiara. Teresa’s skills are evident in the style of the Lungarotti white wines, while the red wines are all classics in their own right.
