The vineyard is essentially planted with, Cabernet Sauvignon as well as Merlot , Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot that have an average age of 30 years old. The vineyard is enclosed by the famous wall, which is shown on the label of tis great wine. The harvest is hand picked and taken to the chai for fementation which lasts between 12 and 24 days. Depending on the vintage the wine is matured in oak barriques for 18 months. A beautiful ruby red colour dominates the colour with spicy black cherry, cassis, blackberry, minerals, camphor and dark chocolate aromas. Intensely flavored it builds in the mouth. On the Finish it has chewy, mouthcoating tannins and impressive long length. Available in the Original wooden case. (12 x 75 cl)

Léoville Las Cases produces arguably the most exotically perfumed wine in the Médoc and this can be partially attributed to the must being fermented at lower than average temperatures, which leads to its youthful aromatic richness being retained. On the palate it is powerful and concentrated and marvellously well-balanced. A well-structured wine first showing warm, ripe cassis fruit overlaid by tobacco, cedar and lead pencil notes at the finish. (12 x 75 cl)
