Citra is a co-operative at the forefront of the small number of Abruzzese producers who are turning out wines of style. The Citra range has a delicious simplicity and wide appeal. In addition, the co-operative are also calling on well researched methods such as barrel fermentation and barrique ageing Hand selected Pecorino grapes are gently pressed and the resulting must is fermented at a controlled temperature, after a short contact with skins at low temperature to produce a light yellow coloured wine with gilded nuances and greenish tones. The fragrant floral aromas are pleasantly fruity, with hints of mango, garden sage, acacia and exotic fruit.
