A blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot., this Pomino has a character that is distinct from all other red wines in Tuscany. The cool, northern Tuscan zone, with vineyards planted at an altitude of about 350 metres, gives the wine a lovely elegance, while the blend of grape varieties, the judicious use of oak and the skill of Franco Bernabei all combine to produe an excellent wine.

Frescobaldi's prestige estate Castello di Pomino produces this flagship wine from predominantly Chardonnay, grown at an altitude of 700 metres in the Appennines. Fermented and aged twelve months in French oak barriques.
A wonderfully intense yellow, tending to amber with a full, yet delicate nose and palate. Made from partly dried grapes, this wine is left to ferment untouched in small casks for approximately 2 years and subsequently left to mature for a further 3 years. The result is unique. (12 x 50 cl)
Il Paradiso di Manfredi is a tiny estate of 2.5 hectares in the heart of Montalcino. Manfredi purchased the estate in 1958 and worked on it throughout his life until he died in 1982 when his son Florio took over. Adopting many biodynamic methods and hand picking the fruit, great care is taken from the vineyard to the winery. After spending about 10 months in Slovonian oak this deep dark Sangiovese wine is showing good dark fruit aromas that develop on the palate and through to the good finish. (6 x 75 cl)
