The cooler climate means the wine is fresh and juicy with a smooth, easy-drinking style. Toby Barlow has crafted a cracking example , using grapes grown in the same vineyards as the flagship Mitchelton wines, making this a great value wine with real pedigree. Producer Profile Made at the Mitchelton winery in Victoria (and made with 80% Mitchelton estate grown fruit), the Preece wines take their name from Australian wine legend Colin Preece who was one of the first people to spot and cultivate Victoria's potential for winemaking back in the early 1970s. The wines are made with all the care and attention to detail you'd expect of winemaker Toby Barlow and his team and reflect Victoria's cooler climate with an elegant, approachable style in contrast to the bigger blockbuster wines from elsewhere in Oz.
