Description:
Côte de Beaune-Villages applies exclusively to the red wine vineyards of 16 communes in the Côte de Beaune including Dezizes-Les-Maranges, Saint-Aubin and Auxey-Duresses. Maison Latour carefully selects wines that should present all the qualities of a basic Burgundy but in addition, greater character, intensity of flavour and consistency on the palate is evident. Traditional fermentation followed by 18 months in oak barrels has produced an attractive supple wine with a nose of fresh strawberries, and a good potential for ageing.

An impressive range of berry-fruit flavours and soft ripe tannins support the long finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Jadot source grapes from several of the lesser-known villages of the Cote de Beaune, including notably Chorey-les-Beaune, which are then vinified and blended under their total control in their own cellars. The wine spends approximately 12 months in oak pieces before bottling. A fine example of Jadot's fuller style. Available in halves. (24 x 37.5 cl)

Mid bright red. Fresh and bright, red berry nose. Quite forward and attractive. Good fruit ripeness on the palate with some structure and good acidity. Clean and ripe. Forward and approachable. (12 x 75 cl)
