Sandeman ARMADA Rich Cream Oloroso Sherry

Royal Corregidor has an appealing mahogany colour and a deep, complex aroma, where the intense raisin notes of the Pedro Ximénez sweet wines combine with the smoothness typical of the very old olorosos. It is extraordinarily rich on the palate, with a velvety mouthfeel and an extremely long aftertaste recalling all of its aromatic complexity and stimulating all the senses. The Wine Sandeman Rich Golden ages in its own Solera of small oak casks. The wines selected just after the harvest evolve into colours of copper amber and rich gold. With time they develop subtle complexity and round, full bodied characteristics with a wonderful richness. The velvety aftertaste makes this wine a perfect accompaniment to desserts, or on its own served chilled, or on ice, in a wine glass. Royal Ambrosante is a wine with a rich, dark, opaque mahogany colour, and intense raisin aromas. It is both smooth and sweet in the mouth, and yet full and vigorous combining lush ripe fruit and age in a perfect balance. The intense raisin flavours are complex with a very long finish. The Wine Character Amontillado is a premium quality Amontillado Sherry, aged in small casks where the pale wines slowly evolve into medium gold amber colours and flavours of subtle complexity develop. Later a small amount of rich PX Sherry is blended in to make a dry and complex wine with a touch of sweetness. Tasting Notes Aromatic and complex on the nose, slightly pungent, with notes of PX. Medium golden in colour with hints of red amber. Very harmonious on the palate, with an agreeable touch of sweetness at the first moment, giving way to a nutty complexity and a long clean finish. The wine matures in a Solera, under ''flor'' to become a pale straw yellow colour, with shades of green and gold. Light, fruity and delicate on the palate with a fresh, dry finish it is perfect as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood. Produced from Palomino grape grown in Sandeman's own vineyards located in the best areas of the Jerez demarcated region, the wine matures in a Solera, under ''flor'' for a minimum of five years. Tasting Notes Pale straw yellow colour, with shades of green and gold. Bright and clear with an aromatic, very pungent aroma, the influence of maturing under Flor. Light, fresh and delicate on the palate with a crisp, dry finish. A sweet Oloroso sherry, golden amber in colour. It is aged for 8 years and made from grapes owned by Gonzalez Byass in the 'Jerez Superior' area. Full, smooth and sweet, well-balanced and very tasty. Serve at room temperature: 16 degrees C. (12 x 37.5 cl)
