This vineyard is situated on the Hill of the Cannubi. A deep, sometimes inky wine, with tobacco aromas. It has a great, smoky complexity and surprising finesse and suppleness for such a weighty wine. A perfect accompaniment to red meat game and cheese. Serve at room temperature. (12 x 75 cl)

Barolo Le Albe is made in an accessible style while retaining all the characteristics of a top wine. It has delicate scents of violets, roses and raspberries and is soft and accessible on the palate, with spicy ripe tannins and wonderful balance. The grapes for this wine are grown in three different vineyards: Fossati which faces southeast; Coste which faces south and the south/southwest facing vineyard of La Volta. The wine is ripe and forward, with Aldo Vajra’s trademark elegance very much to the fore. (12 x 75 cl)

The long strip of the Rocche vineyards with its forty year old vines, extends from the Castiglione Falletto appellation south into the Monforte comune.
