Our Single Vineyard Sangiovese is remarkably dark in colour, with deep violet red hues. The highly perfumed nose features ripe black cherry, plum and peach aromas. The long ageing in mostly new oak barrels contributed rich vanilla, toast, and caramel, with background notes of cinnamon and clove. On the palate, the full-bodied wine has spicy, chewy tannins and well-balanced acidity, which give the wine both length and breadth in the mouth. The vanilla oak draws forward on the smooth finish. This wine should age well for at least eight to ten years. (6 x 75 cl)

Errazuriz ESTATE Carmenere Aconcagua Valley Chile from Chile, Aconcagua, Aconcagua Valley by Errazuriz Soft & Supple Reds

A good example of this uniquely chilean grape. It is full bodied with well balanced tannins. This wine displays classic Carmenère aromas of blackberry jam, soy sauce, roasted red pepper and coffee, with slightly earthy notes and vanilla. On the palate, the texture is lush and velvety. The explosive flavours feature smoked black tea, dark chocolate and ripe, spicy raspberry. This wine should age well for up to ten years. (6 x 75 cl)

Merlot Reserva is a big wine with rich layers of ripe fruit. The intense blackberry aromas are offset by an earthy component, a seeming contradiction that is actually quite characteristic of Chilean Merlot. The long ageing in French oak barrels contributes an integrated vanilla bean character. On the palate, the wine has a silky texture, with forward berry fruit, a lot of spice, and full, soft tannins. Coffee and tobacco draw forward on the finish. It will be interesting to watch the development of this wine over the next ten years. (6 x 75 cl)

Our Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is made to showcase the distinctive characteristics of fruit grown in the Aconcagua Valley. A generous, full-bodied wine with layers of complexity. Luxurious aromas of earth, leather and spice are balanced by black cherry and well-integrated vanilla oak. Ripe, spicy tannins give the wine length on the palate, with a rich array of dried cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and tobacco. With proper cellaring, it should continue to age well for many years. Errazuriz Syrah is a medium-bodied wine with forward, lively fruit.The almost floral aromas feature ripe raspberry and cherry set off by a rich vanilla background. On the palate, the integrated oak complements the chalky tannins, creating a velvety texture and adding layers of vanilla and toast. A slight note of leather and earth add complexity. Good acidity gives the wine structure and a clean, smooth finish. This wine is delicious for drinking on release (6 x 75 cl)

Don Maximiano Founders Reserve displays spicy blackberry aromas and deep earthy characters, while the oak ageing contributes integrated notes of toasted almonds, vanilla and coffee. On the palate, the ripe berry fruit is reminiscent of blackberry pie, together with black cherry, coffee and vanilla. Rich cigar, leather and an intriguing note of ripe black olives add complexity. Supple tannins create a silky texture and long finish. As it ages in the bottle, the wine is developing a touch of mint, which is characteristic of the Don Maximiano Estate.
