Vigne Regali PINOT SPUMANTE Brut Piemonte

Situated in the small village of Neviglie Cascina Baricchi is a relatively young enterprise; the estate was purchased in 1979 but the first vintage was as recent as 1996. The owner is an extrovert young chap called Natale Simonetta. He likes experimentation. this is why he started to produce ice wine , sparkling Nebbiolo and Voila' . Et Voila is something to behold. The grapes are picked up the first week of August. The first fermentation is in stainless steel tank, where the wine remains until the following May and afterwards the wine remains on the lees for a further six years. Great complexity with pure elegance on the nose and in the mouth. (6 x 75 cl)

Colour: light straw yellow colour. Bouquet: full, aromatic flavour. Flavour: full, harmonious and ample flavour. Pressing and Vinification: the juice, obtained by soft pressing of the grapes, is racked prior to the temperature controll. Primary fermentation lasts an average of 10 to15 days. The wines are blended and then the cuvee undergoes a secondary fermentation in pressure tanks. Area: Pinot Blanc from the region of Alto Adige. Chardonnay from Langhe Hills.
