Deep red in colour. Intense aromas with slight complexity. Notes of vanilla, toast, fruits of the forest, liquorice & cacao. The oak ageing is excellently integrated with soft touches of cinnamon. The resulting wine is round and elegant showing smooth tannins on the palate as well as excellent balance of acidity and alcohol. Great length with a touch of velvet and notes of honey the give way to an intense and warm finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Deep-dark cherry-red colour. Intense on the nose with powerful yet pleasing aromas of mature stewed fruits, honey & blackberries. The oak notes are excellently integrated without too much intensity. Dry and full to taste with sweet liquorice notes. (6 x 75 cl)

Made from Viura this wine will spend 6 months in new American Oak. (6 x 75 cl)

Bodegas Alicia Rojas has a long and rich history that begins in 1920. In his first traditional cellar in Laguardia, Mr Gonzalo Rojas began making wines from the indigenous grape Tempranillo and soon began ageing them in oak, something he had learnt from a trip to Bordeaux. His wines were soon held in high esteem and this, along with his commitment to the growth of the wine business in Rioja, soon saw him appointed to the Administrative Council Today the Rojas family wines are still highly rated and they produce both ordinary Tinto and Crianza as well as an organic version of both under the Solarce label.
