Quite full-bodied but with elegant apple aromas and a clean lively grapey flavour, but with added weight and a smoothness in the mouth. Ideal with seafood and picnic lunches.
Hand picked and barrel-aged this delicious claret is deeply coloured with silky, creamy tannins. It has added richness in the flavour from a good proportion of Merlot grapes, and a touch of cigar box aromas precedes a fruit driven style and round finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Chateau Magneau is an ancient estate run by the Ardurats family, the direct descendants of a line of wine growers from before the reign of Henri IV. Twenty-five hectares are devoted to producing white Graves and the varieties planted are 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 45% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle, while the vines are on average 30 years old. Harvesting is done by hand and the grapes are sorted before being taken, intact, to the press. Each varieties vinified separately in stainless steel vats at low temperatures so as to preserve all the grapes' aromatic potential as a result Chateau Magneau white wines are very fruity. Their bouquet, sparkling while young, evolves over the years without losing any of its intensity as this pale yellow coloured wine develops the classic grave style. (12 x 75 cl)
Made from a blend of Sauvignon and Semillon grapes with a superb nose of vegetal overtones. A very attractive, clean, refreshing, dry wine with a long finish. Enjoyable with fish, chicken or poultry dishes. (6 x 75 cl)
This wine is a blend of part barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon and is a pale yellow color. Zesty aromas of grapefruit as well as floral and mineral notes give way to a lively and well balanced palate with a persistent finish. (12 x 75 cl)
